One summer I was hiking around a nearby lake, collecting driftwood to use for sculptures, when I decided to sit down in a quiet spot to cool off. After sitting for a while I began to feel different. I felt lighter and a sense of joy entered my heart. I suppose I had a spiritual experience in nature. That moment led directly to this piece, and a unique style of art.
